my birthday came and it passed.
it passed, miraculously enough, not with (hostile) screamed obscenities into the night, but with the kind of fun that reminded me of the familial-type bond i share with a good chunk of my friends. this, more than the promise of cash, presents, cards, or even unlimited alcohol, is exactly what i wished for for my birthday and it makes me ridiculously happy to report that they absolutely came through for me. thanks, you guys.
