a couple of people commented that i was looking awfully "preppy" today. i was wearing black pants with an untucked white button-down shirt under a blue vintagey t-shirt with different colored cubes screen-printed on the front.
i'm not preppy, i'm bohemian! i listen to obscure music and read literature understandable only to myself and my fellow literati! seriously, all i needed was a pair of emo glasses and a choppy haircut. i know what dadaism is! just look at my "vintage" shirt!
oh, none of that is true - the stuff about listening to obscure music and reading incomprehensible literature - unless, of course, you're one of those people who's willing to measure the truth in degrees. i could have faked it, though, had i the above ingredients. a stack of flyers advertising an upcoming protest and a penchant for veganism would have helped, too.
damn life is boring lately.
